Hey guys,

Ii've heard that its good to feed your crickets and insects vegies such as carrots then youu can feed them to yourur fish and its good for them,

So what I'im doing instead of that now is stuffing small pieces of carrots and peas and vegies into my prawns then Ii feed them to my saratoga.

Is this an ok thing to do, is it good for my saratoga?

anyone tried this kind of stuff?

If so what is best kinds of vegies for fishes to eat?

Thanks

Saratoga are primarlily carnivores and eat fishes and insects. I think I'd try and mimic that diet in your tank. I dont think they require much vegetable matter in their diet (though I am not an expert on scleropages).

For omnivorous spp. it might be a good way to get them to eat their greens, however, most omnivores will readily eat veges as is, without a disguise!
