mjc
my lithobate is holding at the moment and i was just wondering if its a good idea to take her out of the tank and put her in a different tank because the male is also chasing her alot . i have heard this is dangerous for the eggs because the mother gets stressed out and she swallows the eggs....so should i leave her to in the tank or take her out?????????????????? thanx
YeW
Mjc - Some haps (lithobates included) are prone to spitting their eggs so make sure if you isolate her you have a egg tumbler ready in case she spits (see the SCP DIY section for plans on how to make one). If you can move her without her spitting you can put her in a floatie for a few weeks till she is ready to spit them herself. HTH -
