cobaltcraig Posted September 29, 2004 Share Posted September 29, 2004 Good Morning all My mate has a 3ft tank temp = 28 ph = 7.6 hardness not sure filteration cannister and a internal filter ok heres the problems fish having private partys no activity at all in fish fish breathing heavily no signs of white spot or velvet tank has small white worms on glass tank has a cone snail infestation Need to perk up the fish and get rid if white worms can anyone advise how thanks craig Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

novafishy Posted September 30, 2004 Share Posted September 30, 2004 you mentioned that the fish are breathing heavily. is there enough oxygen in the water or disturbance of water at the surface for oxygen transition? because your temp is a tad too high. maybe lower it abit and add an airstone. anchar Posted September 30, 2004 Share Posted September 30, 2004 Have the cone shells always been there or are they a new addition...snails can host flukes. I would check oxygen supply (esp. since 28C is a bit high if there is not much surface aggitation) and treat for gill flukes.
