bn eggs hatch after how long?

yes for them to hatch all you have to do(or can do) is be patient. my bn's have spawned many times and it varies from time to time on average however, maybe between 3 days to 2 weeks, some will grow really slowly no matter what you feed them and others will grow faster.

my practice:

1) make sure that you don't remove the father ( the one who guards the eggs)

2) don't do any drastic waterchanges especially in the first week or so (i really don't do any for the first month unless it is really dirty then just a few mug fulls0

3) make sure there is a bit of driftwood in the tank with them.

4)at about 1 week old or so i start them on algae pellets, zuchinni, shelled squashed peas, spirulina flake etc.

i nearly forgot if they are in with other fish make sure there are many hidey holes for them.

thanks for the responce!

they are in a discus tank so i do daily w/c....i hope they will be ok. there is plenty of places for them to hide and a big piece of driftwwod for them.

they may end up as dinner for my discus but i guess that's ok
