catcher
Well, In just one week I've gone from enthusiastic Cichlid owner with no experience of new guys, to a new dad with three of my females spitting. E Yellow: about 10 fry Kadango: about 15 fry and this morning, Red Empress: about 30 fry, all seem to be going ok. I can feel this damm Cichlid addiction moving to a new level. glenn passes out cigars!

catcher
No HyB's I moved the moms into a hospital tank until they spat, now the fry are all together and the moms are back in the display tank. glenn

catcher
Just one last question on this topic, The E Yellows and the Kadangos are swimming and quite independant of each other. The Red Empress though, are all swimming fine but seem to be "schooling", they move as a group, all face the same direction etc. Is this behaviour a fry trait for them or are they a naturally "schooling" type fish? glenn
