Setup
I'm thinking of feeding adult frontosa some larger food rather than just bloodworms, pellets and flakes. Any suggestion on whether it's good or bad to feed them live earthworms?
oakes
i had a bad experience from feeding earthworms when a bacterial infection spread through an entire tank. These things are difficult to cure and the fish died a slow and horrible death. If you are sure the source is clean chances are it will be fine and the fish will love them, but it's a risk i will never take again. If you really want to give your fish the occasional larger live food maybe commercially available meal worms would be a better choice. regards Glenn
