Brownfish
Hi scum sufferers, this little device was designed by one of the members of the Canberra and Districts Aquarium Society. It costs about $5 to make, and around half an hour of your time (tops!) to construct. Check this diagram for construction method. It works by drawing in the surface water in the slot at the top of the left hand riser, and then spits it out the elbow on the right hand side. The bubble action breaks up the scum and effectively removes it from the surface of your tank. I'd appreciate any feedback. Cheers Richard
