I've been able to find a few spare glass sheets, thought it'd be useful as a glass lid. As I'm missing a few pieces. The glass sheets are already in rectangle form, I will just have to shorten them a little, but I have no clue how to cut the glass. Any help is appreciated.

I've purchased SAFE from Gav quite a while ago, and I still have quite a bit left. I use them when I make a water change, sometimes I'd forget to tie up the bag. Well these past few days I've been getting wierd smells from my fish tank area, and cannot for the love of god find out where it's coming from. The bag of SAFE is placed on top of my hood, so I walked around just a while ago getting close to the bag of SAFE my nose immediately died from a single sniff. It's got a really strong smell coming out of it, and yes the bag is tied. The smell has stunk up my whole living room. Just wonde

At first i notcied the air was not coming out of the tube, so i thought it mayve been my air pump, but it was stillr running. I checked the tubing and i foudn water leaking out of the check valve as i taken it out of the cupboard for a clealer look it broke and water started to come out. so i detatched it from the airtube for the meantime. it did still have air pumping, but was very weak

My air pump stopped working just a few minutes ago. Noticed that one of the accessories broke. Here is a picture: When I first bought my tank the LFS told me it prevents water from entering the pump. Wondering if its true? What is this called? It has broken and I'm looking to get a new one very soon.

I'm looking to purchase new hoses as I've cut them abit too short for the intake Wonder if there is a possible chance to purchase new hosing from anywhere?

Another problem I have is another sound it makes. It sounds like air has gone in and not functioning properly for 2 seconds, then runs back normal. It happens once in a while, not all the time. Just makes that kind of sound, what do you guys think it may be? The intake is no where near air.

I was playing around with the impeller, and pretty muched stopped the noise. The impeller was not inserted properly I think, I moved it abit and it stopped the noise. But I cant figure out how it started to have the noise in the first place, I did not even touch the filter.

Has sitting down when I hear a crunching sound in the motor, thought it was clogged since I havent cleaned out the filter for a few months due to the HSC. So I went and gave it a clean. All clean, filter media all clean and I try again. The sound happens again, so I guess the motor are having problems? I know you guys cant actually tell because you cant hear the exact sound it makes, but if the motor of the filter isnt working properly is there anyway to fix it. I think I bought it with 3 year warranty, will go bring it back to the fish shop if I cant resolve this. Now my tank is running

Do orange spots actually have orange spots. I have seen some which looked much like peppermints.

Have seen my pleco nibble off a dead fish, nibbled till the skeleton.

Yeh, have heard that Acei's are good. Also have heard they realise it isnt their fry after the first batch and stop taking in cuckoo eggs.

Yeh I already know how to breed them, just need to know the signs of breeding, and good hosts.

Hi, Getting into breeding these magnificent Cuckoo cats. First of all what signs would show they are trying to or wanting to breed? I have about 7 cuckoo cats in a tank and I am seeing about 4 or so following each other quite often nowadays. I have another 3 in a smaller tank which I will add to the colony when a host is also added. My cuckoo cats are about 7-8cm. Could all the successful breeders of the cuckoo catfish care to share their information? Also state which fish would be great hosts. Thanks
