Update on my Tang Tank

This is an update on my Tang Tank, it's seen a few fish, which have come and go just simply because they didn't fit in the tank.

Currently there are

Cyprichromis Micro - Bulu point - Adults haven't bred for me tho.

Eretmodus cyanostictus kipilli - have bred once

Pair of calvus - haven't bred but shouldn't be far off.

Neolamprologus leleupi longia - 5 junveniles

Julie regani - can't remember the variety

Gnathochromis permaxillaris

Paracyprichromis nigripinnis - albino and normal

Neolamprologus occelatus

Syno multipunctatus

Syno petricola

2 bristlenose

I'm sure i'm missing something else.

Can any cyp breeders, tell me what they think this is. I've been told it's a female but there is a lot of colour for one. Does it look like it's holding?

I had cyprichromis micro mboko and those females had some colour and black fins also.

Very nice pics and I think the micro is female and holding although not many.See if she tumbles them,then you're be sure

Well I tried to strip 2 weeks ago, and there was nothing there. I have 2 like that.

Do cyps eat while holding.

Furcifer have gone unfortunately.

They weren't sitting right with the harmony of the tank unfortunately

Cyps are normally good holders so can leave them for a couple weeks and you should see the dark shadows of the fully formed fry in the buccal cavity.Yes they can eat very tiny amounts while carrying depends on the female.

Where's the Kilesa ?

Sold them. I got over loosing fry so passed them on, miss the euthasim of the males now.

The buldges haven't changed shape or colour for two weeks, I'm calling them tricotti in Cyp clothing.

Where did you get the rock in the middle of the tank from? its one of those fake ones right?

Yaeh it's fake, was a reptile rock from Ronnys Rocks I got when I had small goannas.

It just happened to match the background perfectly.
