Rocks: Sandstone (005)

Recommended Posts

Sandstone is very porous, and is capable of adsorbing pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and fertilisers. These, in turn, will be released into your aquarium. Secondly, depending upon the "cement" use to hold the sand together, some sandstones are not suitable for use in many biotope aquariums. There will be an article posted shortly that will elaborate on the use of different rock types in the aquarium.

GreekStylez, Yiassou: Heaps of roadwork out our way (Menai), where you can obtain it from, about 20 mins from u on M5.

It ends up in landfill sites, so I dont think it will be a problem and theres plenty to pick and choose from.
