killiguy
Excellent photos.Ive had one for many years now that is about 14 inches and is the sole occupant of a 4x2x2 tank.I inherited him after he killed all the occupants of his last 3 big cichlid community tanks.I have difficulty cleaning the tank as he attacks everything that goes in esp the gravel cleaner and esp my hand.Ive often wanted to breed with him(through a divider)Does anyone have a spare female or fry. This is one fish that was once common(like P.friedrichsthalii)that we are indanger of loosing unless we combine efforts
QueenslandeR
would take about 2-3 years to get to that size i didn't have the guy his whole life so i cant give you an approximate age. I sold him a few months back and he measured just on 15 inches tail length with still alot of filling out to do, just a bit bigger than my 12 inch estimate .
