antz Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 any suggestions on a barcoo grunter tank mate. he is about 20cm.. and was fighting with my 13cm oscar after half a day of introduction.. so now he is a loner.. hahaha any other fish i can put with him?. around 35cm adult size max.. or a shoal of some sort or something??? also would i be able to put in the oscar when the oscar gets about 20-25cm?? btw. aus native and bracish fish and american's are really nice... im just getting into them thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pride Posted April 12, 2007 Share Posted April 12, 2007 Absolute pigs of fish! I had one which would bulldoze its way through any fish just to get to food and could keep eating as long as you fed it. Mine was kept with a couple of Friedrichstahli and an Oscar and without any fighting problems. One of my fish keeping dreams is to eventually have super large tank with an Aussie native theme.
