bretto
I have put in a new surrounding in my tank, the ultimant snag for a mj, but since i put it in he has not moved from this corner. He hasn't moved for two days now, will he be alright or should i take the branch out of the tank altogether.

jaymes007
it could be the problem? but then it may not be? it can take a while for things to leach out of wood. i usually soak my wood for a couple of weeks before i put in any of my tanks. Even then i have had problems with tanin etc. It could just be the new environment that he isnt used too. From experience, it usually takes a few days for a fish to adjust to new surroundings and get the confidence to be itself. Did you change much of the water when you re-arranged? could also be water parimeters? just a few ideas? Jaymes
bretto
yes i changed about 50% of the water, but over the last couple of hours he is starting to wander more, not much but a little is good a suppose.
