  1. Thanks, Satanoperca. I couldn't remember the name of it. This post led to me finding out about Facebook classifieds, but I don't use social media, and I find the format distracting. Also why don't you use forums anymore? I didn't get your meaning.
  2. I'm with Kev. I've fixed two before and they lasted long beyond the break.
  3. Does Plecofanatics still exist? If not, can someone suggest a site with a classifieds that deals in exotics?
  4. Thanks, Chris, but I don't have a tank. I don't think I'd keep them again even if I did. Too much upkeep. If i ever get back into fish, I think I'll get something that eats pellets. They were cool fish, Ged. It's funny. I was reluctant to take them, but they turned into one of my favs.
  5. Cheers, Chris, but still beyond me. Time...

  7. What species are here besides Monoculus and Temensis ?
  8. I can't believe how chepa the L007 are. Are they the same price here in NSW? I always wanted some, but the price was too high. Even the other L's have fallen in price considerably. Time is on our side.

Nothing. I don't keep fish anymore. I just like looking at and hearing about other peoples.

Nice list. I enjoy reading these for some reason.
  11. I wonder how responsible Ad feels for all of this. Having made his living from books, tours, and talks on the fish in the lakes, he's no doubt played his part in it all. After all, he travels the world promoting fish species from the lakes. Enthusiasts watch, read or travel with him, then want to keep species for themselves, which leads to overcollecting. It's easy for him to say we're taking too many fish (I bet they are!), but he's been one of the biggest promoters of them. Does he ever ponder that? I wonder. Of course, I've played my part too; we all have.
  12. I wonder what the maintainance to those tanks is like.
  13. Yeah. I used to buy the frozen bags of them from bait shops. They're a cheap option and they fatten the bass up something fierce.
