Don't bother with Rovert. They tried to charge me near $60 for the tiniest little amount so I said forget it. I use Fairlite Plastics for all of my egg crate diffuser, clear extruded tube, polycarbonate etc etc... Off memory it was about $19/sheet... which was about 4x the amount you would get from rovert for the same price. Their details; 300 Manns Rd West Gosford 2250 www.fairlite.com.au 02 4325 1439 Cheers, Adam

Wow, that's very sci-fi anthony! They use some signals to pick up objects however, they aren't really 'blind'. If they were so they would not be able to sense differences in light. Their 'eyes' are photosensitive.... They can still see, just not well. Electrical signals... hmm... : Adam

I see no problem with that mix Luke as long as all fish are within reasonable size difference limits.... Perhaps it would be better if you can let us know the sizes of all tank mates as well and the individual G.surinam then it would be easier to give a more definative answer? Cheers, Adam

Doubtful against bacterial... but regarding protozoal... It must all be relative. I know if I was that size and immersed into a bath of isopropyl alcohol, I'd be out cold pretty darn quick!!  Adam

Well hump he would obviously have to have some sort of facility to be able to hold the fish in quarantine for the 14 day period. I'd imagine by appointment you would be able to inspect. I'd imagine, and I can't blame Nigel if he were to take this stance, that after your carry on - that he would not be likely to be wanting to help you out. There are plenty of advanced aquarists and breeders that hold nothing but high regard for Nigel and the quality of the fish he brings on, I'm sure your lack of business would not hurt him the least. However, your lack of getting his service may hurt you in the long run. Maybe next time, one should learn some tact? Adam P.S. No problem Nigel. Glad to see business is going well.

G'day all, Might remember me as c2105208 on the previous system. I'm 20, from Newcastle / CC NSW. I'm into all types of aquariums - mainly planted and reef, however at the moment I seem to have almost all cichlids. I'm not fussy - americans or africans, seem to have more americans at the moment however! Cutting back to head back to reef tanks but something tells me I'll always have some cichlids Cheers, Adam
