  1. Recently tried and failed to get a replacement impeller for my Very Old Fluval 100. Told "they don't make them anymore". Just wondering a) what kind of water replacement I am looking at and b) what would be a suitable replacement canister filter for a standard 2 foot tank .

  6. Check out "Tropheus Jim". The Master of Tropheus. A very knowledgeable and personable mentor to the rest of us. Got myself some outstanding young Kasanga Red Rainbows and hopeful to follow his lead.

  8. I saw some "Bumble Bees" going at the auction last March.
  9. I was wondering what types of Cyp Leptosoma were around these days. Do we have the 5 varieties listed ? Found this reference http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/c_leptosoma.php Just curious - would like to get some but having trouble with supply.
  10. luis is correct=I would omit the carbon though unless you expect to be servicing the filter on a regular basis -It doesn't take very long to get saturated and need replacing

  12. Still think the "Old Fashioned Normal Jacks" are pretty cool,Thinking of getting them renamed "Jack Nicholsons" for more appeal with the "younger" generations. Any seconders ???
  13. I actually have a colony of 20 Dubs already and was planning to get Red Rainbows - Great minds must think alike- or are we really cliched ?????
