Australian animal cruelty guidelines strictly prohibit the feeding of live vertebrates to other animals. ACE strongly discourages this practice and its promotion via either discussions or photographs will not be tolerated at ACE forums.

ACE is aware of the need to use frozen mice as food for various reptiles or in some cases larger fish. The posting photographs depicting mice, rats or other vertebrates used as food should clearly state that the mice, rats or other vertebrates were purchased dead for food and/or were euthanased humanly.
