Whether it it can or cant be done, is it better to keep all males etc.Curious what people have experienced with mixing these fish!!I was considering getting one male of 4 varients in my 5x2 but wont bother if its just gonna be an open warfare. Ged Posted October 2, 2015 Share Posted October 2, 2015 Chuck my wife loves dwarf gourami and purchased by range of colour morphs and placed them in a community tank. All was fine with only a small amount of conspecifics aggression. There was plenty of plant cover and they tended to set up there own territory in the tank. She then said "just one more" and all hell broke out and we lost most of them. As with all things some individuals are more aggressive than others. I suspect that it comes down to them originally having to defend their meagre environment in India/Bangladesh/Pakistan. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
