Also make sure it is not too hot and that you keep an eye on the turtle at all times. Lounge room - no!

Depending on its size be weary of birds. Also make sure he has some shade if he needs to get out of the sun.

I wouldn't leave him in intense heat either. He would soon fry in the sun on a warm day. If you can find an area with dappled shade, that would be perfect

You wouldn't happen to know if the Northern Snake Necked are the same as Eastern Snake Necked do you?

well yeah the eastern and northern snake neck are basically the same except they look a little different. but they have the same qualitites.

You can let them wonder around on the lounge floor, but it is of no benefit to do so if you are trying to give them sunshine ? Other than exercise.
