Your best bet would be to contact the breeder / shop you bought them from. Many species look identical or very similar at that size. For Aulonocara, Protomelas spp., many Mbuna it would be guesswork. It's important to know what you have so if you re-sell or breed at some stage fish aren't incorrectly labelled. Cheers

Hi Daryna, welcome to the forum.

The first one looks like a Pseudotropheus (maylandia) lombardoi to me. Realistically though it could be many fish as None mentioned.

No idea about the other 2 sorry.

None offers the best solution. the problem with losing track of what the fish are is that the fish is fine for display purposes but you cant really do anything with them if you decide to do more.

If you use the %7Boption%7D tag on photobucket it will post the actual image into your post

Sorry Daryna but that is not a Pundamilia nyererei (Flameback)

This is an old one I had...

Yours is a different shape and the photo is difficult to see any markings but the flameback has vertical black striping on the body. Quite thick and pronounced.

First pic is Lombardoi as Chuck picked

second pic is a "Victorian" Haplochromide

nearly all look like silver fish until the male colours :blink

last pic shows a Melanochromis species on left

what appears to be a Protomelas on the right :blink

check back with the seller is the best option you have

and use the notes app on your phone to note what

they are , this works with me when trying to remember

what someone has for sale

Hi Daryna, not sure about the others but, are those the flamebacks you bought from me. If so I can guarantee that is is a Flameback.

They need to grow up a little bit more to color up.
