Chuckmeister
For me its 3cm. I normally wont bother with anything smaller but the bigger the better really.

Ducksta
Apart from shellies and a few dwarf types I'd say 3cm is a good minimum. I sold a bunch of mbuna years ago at 2cm+ because of demand for the species and I figured I could use the tankspace. But afterward I didn't feel right about it. (Even though as far as I know all the moves were successful.)
krellious
reasonable is 3+. I have sold at 1cm and shipped overnight to wagga and lost 5 out of 200 during shipping and none as the buyer properly settled them in. All really depends on how much the buyer knows and how they acclimitise the new fish.
