Ged
Otopharynx sp. 'auromarginatus margrette' was being kept and bred here at one stage and NSWCS was doing some work with trying to ensure that they weren't lost from the hobby. I haven't heard of Otopharynx sp. 'auromarginatus goldhead' being here though anything is possible.
Buccal
I breed the "margrette",,, I've sent a lot of them to Sydney to.It's a shame that shops don't push to support these, as they are a stand out for something different to the rest.I myself have never seen the gold head about in Oz. Buccal
Yep Definetely that Monday I said which was two shipments ago, so a fair white ago now.You have to be faster than that,,, you likely missed out.If you make a request with the shop I'll send some in his next order,,, he will naturally ask me and purchase of my list.I've got a group of 4cm fish, as soon as he asks me I'll hold them. Craigo
Hey guys did the OP eventually obtain the margrette? Buccal how often do you deliver to the shop mate? Only special requests? Does anybody know of these fish in QLD? They are very interesting & I'mQuite interested myself to be honest, started a new rack & looking to keep other mid sized haps otopharanx, mylochromis & protomelas
Buccal
Obviously the O.marg wasn't requested, because the recent order I shipped which was today, did not have these species chosen.I'm pretty sure this shop ships to people to.I have a massive minimum order purchase, and live very far from airport. I just keep things easy and simple.Grown adults of these are very well a standout for difference.Bright sky powder blue.nice big eyes with big flank blotches.Grow fairly big and chunky to.Development of fry in mothers mouth have a timespan half way between a average Malawi and frontosa,,, time Wise in development.About 20 days. These fish keep the substrate tidy and clean to. Buccal
Yes I did yesterday,,, but no auromarginatus because the shop didn't choose them.If you requested these fish to the shop as I mentioned on page 1,,, then they would have ordered them for you. Buccal
hmm, that's weird. Can't remember mate, Its a commercial operation rather than a back yard breeder setup. Not much was ordered polystigma, ngara flametail, fire fish, rostratus, t.nigraventer of the top of my head. This order was mainly stingray pups.
