I'm after something that will run 20 k1 media filters (600ml bottles). I'm going to run 25mm pvc pipe along the wall, what is the best way to connect the pump to the pvc. Thanks in advance. intangcity Posted February 11, 2015 Share Posted February 11, 2015 some pumps like the resun lp 40 youll get a rubber attachment (just a rubber tube)and two clamps. but to run 20 bottles not sure what size pump youll need i have 13 sponges on the lp40 and it does ok.ive seen lp40 run 16 sponges.i guess it depends on silicone hose length and position of pump.pretty sure a lp 100 or equivalent would do the job easily but depends on your budget also. Buccal Posted February 13, 2015 Share Posted February 13, 2015 I've used many of pumps in my time,,,, and haven't seen anything as good as or long lasting as a lp.Which is pretty good for being a resun.I've had much more expensive pumps that lasted no where near as good as lp.
