I've got one about 60cms.

Icaught it in the local creek on prawn.

I brought it home and put into my 8x2x2. it still had the hook in its mouth.

It started feeding immediately. the hook fell out about two weeks later. that was about six months ago.

IT will be fine..

I dont Know... some people amuse me. they write in looking for advice and all they want to do is find reasons why something wont work or you cant do.

Shanon knows what he's talking about. Why do you insist on arguing with him?

Haven't you got a wife? :p

Temperature isn't an issue with these creatures. they are tough MF's.

Dont worry ... be happy, you have a nice speciman of an unusual fish

ive always thought of keeping these because you can get them a creek near my place.

my only worry is them getting out regardless of if it has lids or not.

do ou guys that have kept them before just put something on top of the lids?

and what do you feed them?

Hahaha dont let me begin on how much trouble it put me through, so many sleepless nights from it banging against the lids, sometimes it will fit its body half way out and give me a fright but then slide back in , theyre quite freaky to be honest. good thing i got rid of it
