Buccal Posted October 30, 2013 Share Posted October 30, 2013 17 to 20 days.Another week of maternal protection follows (fry enters and exits mothers buccal cavity depending wether predicaments are safe or dangerous).If water temp is on the upper end, fry can be stripped at 14 days as I do this.Exact days can vary as temps of 27'c and 28'c will see fry mature fast.High temp coupled with quality water and low nitrates will give full advantage.Water temp at 24'c, 25'c will see the fry slow in growth.Differences in growth will vary 2-5 days difference.
