hammo
Hey guys,Just after a few opinions, I'm looking at getting back into Lionhead cichlids but am unsure whether I want to go with Steatocranus Casuarius or Tinanti. What do you guys reckon? Previously I have only kept Casuarius.FYI, they will be going into a 500L african community tank.Any and all opinions/advice/ideas welcome.Cheers,Hammo
intangcity
both needed to be supplied back into the hobby they come and go and are always a favourite.id go the tinanti but im wondering if you could go both in the same tank being a 500l
Ged
I can't go past the look of a large S casuarius male with a well defined nuchal hump whilst S. tinanti are full of character and make a great addition to a community tank. If you have already had kept Casuarius then keeping another species and ticking it off the bucket list may be a good way to go.Even though you have a 500 litre tank I wouldn't mix the two species. Link2Hell
if you want chunky go the Casuarius if you want slender and sleek go the Tinanti
