simy696
wondering if any tank makers out there can tell me if walls of tank sit on base glass or but up to them i no from tiling experience walls should come down on to the floor tiles. ive seen and purchased a few tanks where walls are butted to the base glass and had issues easy fix buy new base big enough to have walls of tank above if all that makes sence. any way all this leads to another problem i have hole i don't think im going to get someone to cut one threw two bases can i get a cutter too doo myself have 2tanks at present too doo this too. tys simon. jcsongei
I wouldn't put an extra base on, use strips of glass to make an internal border if you think the tank needs better sealing and more strength.
simy696
base in one of them is cracked already and the other built the same figured a new glass would guarantee strength and seal.
