Chuckmeister
Its supposedly a rare blue moon tonight Ged...if you have the lens might be worth a look.
Ged
I was still sitting on the train when the moon came up. It looked spectacular when I came up through the Glebrook gorge but it was too high but the time I got home.I normally use D D Photographic for my camera gear but have found that Dirt Cheap Camera or the Digital Camera Warehouse will match their price. Ged
Watch out for the roos. I had to fend off a couple of large males with my tripod when I went down. Being out in the middle of the park at sunset and after dark on your own surrounded by a mob of a hundred roos makes you rethink. Ged
Certainly is. I was up in a Darwin last year for a conference and got up at 3:30 am and drove 2 hours to Litchfield National Park to capture the Magnetic Termite Mounds at sunrise. I then drove back in time to be at the conference by 9:00am. Magnetic Termite Mounds Litchfield NP by Ged Delany, on FlickrEarlier this year I was up in Armidale and drove out to Gotswyck Chapel near Uralla to photograph it at sunrise only to find a semi trailer parked across the front of the chapel. No matter where I positioned the camera I couldn't keep the semi out of the frame. Took a photo of the countryside on the way back but missed the photo that I really wanted. mbunamad
When members give us a link to their Photobucket pix are they aware we can view all photos in their album?Shouldn't we choose the private option in our Photobucket accounts? If we do and a link is provided will the link not work?Just curious is all. Some members may have pix they don't want others to see! wink wink
