id like to go to a fish auction im guessing adelaides population wont be suited to one maybe one day ill get over to one in nsw I guess the vics don't have one bit closer for me.

Would the same methods as used to transport fish for 24 hours work for this type of pickup ?

IE. Oxygen filling the bag under pressure, chemical headers if needed and possibly add Methylene blue as I've seen it used overseas for shipping

if the fish have been purged and bagged with O2 & prime or similar

there is no reason why they won't be fine in the bag for 48 hrs or

more so long as the temp is reasonably stable

it comes down to preparation by the seller and qty per bag

if you are driving then take your long distance auction kit

buckets, bags, O2 bottle if you have one, airpump with line

and airstones, prime, African buffers if you need to mix fresh

water and a test kit, styro boxes, elastic bands

you get the idea especially if you intend to stay over night

also good to make fish friends in Melb so you have help if needed
