snct2
Thanks for the replies. I think I'll leave this guy in the display tank. The reason I wanted to make sure was, I'm setting up a breeding tank and I already have a nice Lwanda (with 3 females of German bred parents) and was thinking of adding this guy with them as well.My other Lwanda. snct2
My Lwanda breeding tank. The females are on the smaller side so might be a bit of a wait. Might need to find more good quality females. Stupid question does both males and females need to be similar in size to breed successfully ?
Link2Hell
Hi Simon size doesn't matter so long as the female is mature enough and that can be 5-6 cm sizethey will breed
snct2
So for example, a 15cm male will still breed with 6cm female? And is this common for peacocks and mbunas?

Link2Hell
if the male wants to breed he doesn't care as he is hormone drivenif the female is sexually mature she will breed with him if she is ready
