Shr3ds
Hi everyone just wondering. Thinking of making 3d background with some forground swim throughs and caves..Been reading styrofoam is the go but has anyone used Hebel bloks. They are an aerated concrete block comes in a 600x200x100 or basically any size. For $7 a brick pretty cost effective. Just wondering if these would be toxic to the tank..Cheers
malawi sand diver
Hi I tried hebel once. The main problem with it is that it floats. Also, best to seal it with something like pond sealer. The cost of the blocks is cheap, but the stuff you have to seal it with costs heaps. I ended up going with plastic fake rock modules that I bought in the end, that I am happy with.
