Hi all,

New to the forum and thought I'd share my species lists with everyone.

My first set up is a 6x2x2.5 and consists of 4 Labidochromis caeruleus, 1 male and 1 female yellow and 2 female albino. 4 female and one male red fin kandango, 3 female 1 male albino dragonblood peacocks, and 3 female one male red caps.

My second and newest edition is a 4x2x2.5 and currently only has a few female crimson tides

( waiting to find a stunning male for my ladies ), And a BN. Any recommendations for some good tank mates for my crimsons??

Very happy I found this forum, there is some great articles on here. Keep up the awesome work guys!

Thinking I might just add a few more females of what I already have, or another colony of one of the lesser aggressive species, as they guys I have in there at the moment don't seem to bothered by each other. All segestions are very welcome, fairly new to the cichlids but have kept marine for a few years now. Just though I try my hand at something a little less full on. :)

My First suggestion would be if your going to do a run to a fish store - Go checkout Labrynth aquariums in campsie. In the last 3 months i set up a 5 x 2 x 2.5 and have in the last 6 months been getting into things more seriously.

If you havnt been there already Andrew ( the owner and all round awesome dude ) Has some awesome africans in stock that most other places will not have or do not have at all.

He has been helping me stock my tank and couldnt be more satisfied!!!!

I agree Ged, the depth I find can be just as important as the length when keeping rock dwellers and marine. The tank use to be a marine set up, it was custom made by a old mate, the glass is 15mm bulletproof (maybe overkill). I have 6 kids under 7 that like throwing toys and running a muck and didn't want to risk it being broken. Mind you it's a heavy thing to move! Lol
