Cichlid Pete Posted May 7, 2015 Share Posted May 7, 2015 Hi Guys,I am currently running a Fluval FX6 and using the standard media on my 6ft Malawi tank. The tank has been cycling for 4 weeks this Saturday and is still cloudy. The tank looks clear with no light, as soon as I turn the LED lighting on it appears cloudy. Is there a better media and setup I could use to help with this issue or should I just wait a few more weeks and see if it clears?ThanksPeter Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Buccal Posted May 7, 2015 Share Posted May 7, 2015 You just need to wait a bit longer, is totally normal.The system triggers quicker with a few fish.Grab 5-6 tough types of sacrificial fish (but unlikely they'll be harmed), they will help things move along.
