Donny Brasco
Hey guys im currently setting up a fish room in one of my factories, more or less just relocating all my tanks to one room and making everything a bit more simple.I currently have a few small hailea double outlet pumps, a couple of small single outlet pumps and one large oldish hailea V20 pump.now this all does the job for now but im setting this room up a bit better so i would rather buy one descent pump/blower to run all the tanks instead of several pumps. Now i have 4 x 4ft, 2 x 3ft and 3 x 2ft tanks, the 2ft tanks have 2 medium sized filters in each, the 3ft 2 large ones and the 4ft 3 large ones.My question is what sort of lph am i going to need to run them all adequately and do i want a pump or a blower?something like thishttp://www.aquaholicsonline.com.au/hailea-hiblow-hap-100-air-pump-100l-min-6000lph.htmlor something like thishttps://www.aquariumproducts.com.au/catalogue_products.php?prodID=2982Either way i have pvc pipe running around the room in a full circle and will be screwing in some bulk heads to run hose to each tank with a flow valve, its really just a matter of which pump do i now buy or do i buy a blower and whats better etc? Colfish
blowers are rather noisy, they sound like a jet turbine engine idling overgo for a decent pump, they're a long time investment
Donny Brasco
ok so you reckon something like that hailea 6000lph will do the job to run lets call it 6, 4ft tanks?
