They will be Ok extremly unlikely to breed with each other

Hypancistrus will cross with each other most cross breeds in Aust are L066 * L333

Panaqolus will eat your plants so be prepared.

Hypancistrus have a higher protein requirement so I would keep them seperatly

good luck with the tank whatever you decide to do

Thanks Mac :)

I ended up getting some L168 Dekeyseria brachyura. I read they were good on algae and plants were fairly safe. I dropped them in and they went straight to work. They were not shy at all. Really enjoyable fish to watch.

I also put in a few L397. They are a little more discrete around the tank. When you say they eat plants, do you know if they just nibble or are they plant eating machines?

Any opinion on these 2 crossing also?

Again the crossing of these two extremly unlikely

As for your plants I would take some cuttings of your favorite and most expensive

My 397's went to town on my plants when I first stated now they live in a driftwood tank.

Good luck and let us know how they go.
