Dan888
Hi everyone,I am about to start setting up my 6' ex marine tank and I want to set it up as a Tropheus Moorii tank. I have a few questions about this.1. Can I house different varieties together in a colony?2. How many can I house comfortably in a 6' tank without it looking too busy?3. As this link........ http://animal-world.com/encyclo/fresh/cichlid/BluntheadCichlid.php .....says under the Social Behaviour heading, can I house a school of Sardine Cichlids with them? Has anyone tried this or a similar thing?I look forward to your responses.Thank You.
Josh
I personally wouldn't keep more then one locality in the same tank. I have had moorii and brichardi types cross before. Depending on species you could keep 30 or more adults in a tank.
brucem
If you're not interested in breeding you can keep more than one typeI wouldn't keep cyprichromis with tropheus
Dan888
Thank you,I'm not interested in breeding and if they did breed I wouldn't be interested in selling them due to cross breeding, Not sure what I'd do if the situation did arise that they did breed. any suggestions on that part?
