Chuckmeister
I've had Acarichthys heckelii before but not into breeders. I know they dig but I dont recall them being bulldozers. It was a long time ago though lolI am going to be setting up a planted tanks and was curious to people experience with these fish and if they suit. Was thinking of pairing them up with some discus and neons etc. Bottom feeders are likely to be peppermints and a few L's
Ged
They will work in a planted tank buy your aquascaped design will be paramount. Well defined areas that include a sandy section and rocky sections that have been planted out. The addition of driftwood to add height to the design and the inclusion of some plants growing on the driftwood.

Chuckmeister
yeah that is a beautiful tank alright. Definitely out of my skill range atm though.I'm thinking of building a low tech tank (no co2, low to medium light) to start off with and see how I go.This isn't a bad vid on low tech..
