Jackaroo123
Hi all im new to live plants and I'd just like to now what plants will last in a cichlid tank and provide them with the cover that they need? I plan on getting a big chunk of texas holey rock and getting some yellow labs and some nice Mbunas so what type of plants would you guys suggest that are easy to come buy? Thanks,Jack
danielsplakat
Hi jack, go for some anubias nana mate, ive had great experiences in the past and still keep some. Nana will be easy to attach to your rocks!
malawi sand diver
I second that - anubias is the best, a lot stronger than most and has done OK for me in the past. Looks nice too.

Joel
Plastic ones.My experience with mbuna + live plants has seemingly been the same as Duckstas.I doubt any live plants will survive for too long in a mbuna tank - they will just rip them up.This is what I have found but I am interested to hear others opinions/experiences.Joel
