Looks bit over fed there, so maybe revise feeding regime,,,, just revise as I could be wrong.

Either aggression,,,, or something that is overlooked,, gram negative bacteria infection, especially if it appears fast and gets pink in color soon and turn into a sore lesion.

But, this occurs in environments with high waiste amounts, (not cleaning filters enough, crap in substrate and lack of water changes)...

But look,,,, gam negative bacteria exists in almost every heathy aquarium in very small amounts,,,, note that there are many different strain types.

A fish to occasionally fall victim to this is not a issue.

Your water perameters look pretty good, so doubts its a secondary disease due to primary issues, (if it is actually a disease or infection).

It could just be injury.

Wouldn't even worry,, just keep eye on other fish and if effected fish worsens into above description, then quickly cull it and carry on as normal.

I forgot to mention I had bumped the salt level in the when I saw the problem, but the fin became stuck to the fishes body late on the 30th so I added some Melafix after the water change early yesterday. (I really need to get Refractometer as I have no idea of the salt level in the tank)

The fish is looking much better today. Fin is being used and the white are is much less proud.

I think it must have been some damaged caused by another fish or something in the tank. The fin issue is something I'm not sure about, maybe there is a little fin rot in the tank the Melafix should help with that.

Only time will tell if its recovered.
