Shedding during cooling

Author: africancichlidau

Hi Guys, I just found this new section of the forums! Last time I was on here there was no Herp section so I am happy you have put this one up
Anyway, my question is this, I have started cooling my Coastals even though the male is coming up to a shed, have I done the right thing? My Bredl's Are staying heated over winter as I want to get some growth on them and they are far to young to consider breeding them yet. So what do you guys think of my decision to cool regardless of the shed???

There is no problem with it. Just give the animal a lukewarm bath as it comes out of the opaque phase. Should be no hassles at all.
