Shell
No I don't mean that it is on drugs but I bet that got your attention. I just bought a BN from a LFS and when I got her home I noticed that her head was very thin and her abdomen is so empty it is concave. It looks like she is starving and just wasting away. The LFS said that they feed algae tablets to their BN so I was wondering if anyone knows, if it is not starvation, what else it could be or what I could do for her. I am going to put her in a tank of her own with crystal clear water and try to feed her up to see if she will eat. Any other ideas???
red calico
if itsz a female it could be due to her laying some eggs which gibs that concave belly...MAYBE
99107587
Give her some peas (heat some frozen one in the microwave). I find they love that so if she is healthy (and potentially just laid eggs) then she should be pretty interested in any food you give her.
