littlebig
Hi guys and girls, I would like to know if anybody here has any experience with both or either of these filter. I am trying to get hold of an eheim 2260 but struggling to find one at the moment, but there are a few fx6 around. Want to know good, bad, ect info on either. Thanks willy. littlebig
Would also like to add the eheim pro 4 600 in the mix too Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
chopstick_mike
Both great filters but for me I'll go with eheim most cases as they're almost bulletproof and easy to get spare parts if need be
littlebig
Yes same, I am an eheim fan. Have used a few of the classic range, but nothing that compares to these larger ones. Wondering Wether the 2260 would be worth the extra possibly 300-400 once you fill with media compared to the pro 4 and fx6? littlebig
OK so I finally found a 2260, after a good few months searching and decided to grab it while it was available, now the issue for the media ? yanke
i find that the eheim is good but u can get the parts but have u seen the prices on the eheim parts (i went to get a tap for a pro 2 2028 and they want $78 for it so i put it aside and ill pick up a used filter for a little more and have all kinds of part and the same for the tap for the 2217 also)
