frontoes
Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone feeds their fronts with floating pellets? Is it true that they may get bloated? or is it okay to feed them with it. Thanks Ed
jcsongei
They gulp in air and sometimes have trouble expelling it, so while they don't get bloat they get "float". A bit stressful when they get it so I would choose another type of food if you have the option.

jcsongei
is float alot more worser than bloat? Bloat is much harder to treat - float usually goes away with just not feeding for a while and adding some Epsom salt to the water, and/or removing stressful tankmates/environment. Any fish can get bloat like symptoms from eating too much pellets because they can cause a blockage, with susceptibility depending on the species. Bloat from an infection is often a death sentence once it's noticed.
