Buccal
Hey intern, I could be very wrong,,,, but it may be possible they are Taeniolethrinops sp. furcicauda rather than praeorbitalis.I have praeorbitalis that seems a bit smaller than yours and the noses on mine appear a bit longer.Like I said, I could be wrong with observation. intern1
Hi Buccal,I will put up some photos although I am confident they are praeorbitalis, the furcicauda get more yellow under the belly and throat mine do not have any yellow coloration. Buccal
Oh ok,,, that's a pretty safe examination to determine then.I think it will take some decent maturation to get the nose popping right out.I just hope these guys are appreciated by aquarists when the fry makes it around.I can't wait to get mine into a huge tank,,, I think I'll put some separated dedication into these guys.Exciting fish to have.
