Hey all I'm thinking of using some plastic drums for some rainbows and putting them outside and I'm wondering how much water they will hold after I cut them down to size so I'm wondering how to measure the volume of a drum

Cheers Marty

Half the diameter of the drum squared times the height times 3.14. So if diameter is 20 cm and the height is 100 cm the volume is:

20/2*20/2*100 *3.14 = 10 * 10 * 100 * 3.14

= 31400 cubic centimetres

= 31.4 litres
