He now floats or swims with his tail up and has trouble swimming level. Scienceman Posted February 17, 2009 Author Share Posted February 17, 2009 Sounds like the opposite problem. He now has trouble keeping on an even keel and is swimming with difficulty on his side. I got him and his brother from Ducksta many years ago at 4cm and they were from excellent stock (Brisbane I think). They grew up to be big boof-headed brothers with noggins the size of an old-man snapper. They are an excellent blue with a slight irridescent sheen. Ash Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 If you keep the water conditions top notch (possibly a hospital tank with the same parameters to limit stress from other fish annoying him) it may heal itself.
