Cathyl
Gday, am wanting to set up a catfish display tank and was wondering if you can mix the plecos, L-numbers and bristlenose types all in together without any grief with fighting? Thanks in advance. Cathy
D6C1
What size tank?
Cathyl
It will be a standard 4 footer to start with, but have a 6 foot to update to later. Obviously a standard 4 footer rules out the big plecs for now. Thanks.
Boots n all
Try to buy fish that mature to the same size as best you can, no point having a 8cm Zebra and a 30cm Pleco in the same tank
robdog013
If I were you I would get some L333 or L168, mathew is selling some L168 in the classifieds, goldspot are my favourites though
mianos
In my experience the larger catfish (20cm+) will tend to hassle each other a lot more than the 10cm catfish in a 6 foot tank. I'd go for the smaller breeds.

Thanks in advance. Cathy If the tank is set up correctly with plenty of driftwood and hiding places(caves etc) then it is not a problem, but like has already been said stick with the smaller plecs. Remembering that the more cover/shelter you give them the more you will actually see them as they they will venture out more because they feel safe. I have many L#'s and bn's sharing the same tank and have no problems at all with fighting.
