nannat
2nd one could be tropheops 'chilumba'.females are yellow,so i figure young'uns to be yelo.im only guessing as i dont have chilumba.does it show red on top and forward fins?
Chester
The second one looks like a Melanochromis interruptus (checkerboard johanni) that hasn't seen a female in a long time.
YeW
Hi Guys - Fish 1 is a red top black bar zeb or a zebra hybrid with much of this in. Either way it isnt a great specimen of this morph. Fish 2 is Melanochromis interruptus Fish 3 is (more photos would help here) probably Copadichromis borleyi 'Kandango'.

catcher
Gee, I'm going to stick with my Fish 3 guess as a Red Empress Male. I'm not questioning your judgement Yew, just an observation from my guys. I've got both RE and Kadango's , the Kadango's body shape is a little different to the RedE's. The Red E's seem to grow longer and the Kadango's end up shorter but taller. (If that makes sense.) Red Empress (He is usually more "red" in the body) Kadango cheers glenn
mickgibbo
at the end of the day they were freebies and just filling my display tank until I get my desired fish
phatoscarlover
Hey mick try and get a good body shot of the fish like catchers red emp photos so we can see the colour in the body of the fish. So far all we can see is the blue head/mask and that could be any number of fish. Cheers Andy
anchar
I agree with YeW for the first two....third is a "red empress"... merjo
YeW
Hi Guys - The blurry photo of fish 3 shows it probably isnt a borleyi... not sure that it's a red empress - but then how can we be :D!
phatoscarlover
I dont think number 3 is a red emp, too many egg spots and in the second pic the finage looks too "aggresive" for a red emp i think hes some sort of peacock. cant be sure without a better pic though.
