I am doing a course with work all week this week, which means I have to drive along centenary drive right past flemington markets. I'm wondering: -Does flemington have a fishmarket section? -If so, what day/time etc is it open? -Is it as good as the fishmarkets at pyrmont? I have looked at their website but none of the info there was very helpful, and I have even sent them an email from their site a few weeks back but have had no reply. Anyway I was hoping to drop in there one morning on the way in to my course, but wanted to know something more definite before I pack the esky and leave home at 4am If anyone can give me that answer I'd appreciate it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can't say for certain, but I'm pretty sure the fish markets are only open on Fridays mid-week, and they are all finished by about lunchtime. I know a few people who used to talk about going there to buy Krill for their home-made fish food. But the Krill only used to arrive about once a month. HTH, Lee.
